Websites For Artists
Whereas previously your paintings relied on word of mouth, the internet has blown everything open. Anyone can fall in love with your work and purchase it from across the globe.
Selling your art online is ready for the taking. What’s harder is finding a space that’s faithful to your style.
Owning a website is having your art manifest on the computer screen – a blank canvas, as it were. Everything about the website is editable and I’m here to make it your own. An artist’s website should work alongside your Etsy/Behance page and let you speak without adverts, clutter or third party branding.
Artists, painters, stitchers – all need visuals at the forefront of their webpage. For those whose work is already online, I will assemble your existing images and create a space that reflects your niche. Others might require the work to be scanned or photographed beforehand. Either way, I will ensure the artwork is displayed in a crisp, clear environment using the best slideshows or galleries that ensure visitors can browse with no distractions.
Updating Your Galleries
I realise how important it is for you to manage and update your content. When you’re on a creative spree, the last thing you need is a locked door on your portfolio. However your artwork is displayed, you can be sure that galleries, slideshows and fullscreen images are easily updated from the dashboard. You’ll be able to add and delete images and edit the all-important meta tags that help your work get recognised on search engines.
If you’re an artist, painter, sculptor or craft maker and you’re in need of a website, get in touch. I am happy to meet in Norwich for local enquiries, or arrange Skype calls for people further afield.
