Academic and Lecturer in Health Sciences
As a web designer, large chunks of my time are spent sitting in front of my screen. In some cases, however, I need to spend as much time in front of the client’s computer as my own. Julie Wintrup, whose custom website gives her a platform for her work in Health Sciences, required a thorough and comprehensive understanding of WordPress so that she could be left to her own devices and blog independently. We did just that. Not only is Julie the happy owner of an academic website, she’s also confident in using it.
Now that Julie has been prepped, she’s able to run and update her website outside Southampton University. Many lecturers – with their research papers, personal projects and extracurricular talks – require a custom website with a bit of wiggle room. In the wake of blogging and online discussion it’s no surprise that many turn to bespoke projects that can cater for all their commitments under one banner.
